I stand with Planned Parenthood because
My senior year of high school in 2016, I had been dating an abusive boyfriend for the past 4 years. He would always force himself on me and one time that resulted in me being pregnant. I could not break up with him because he would stalk me and threaten to kill me, he already would physically assault me almost daily so I was terrified. He forced me to schedule an abortion, he paid for my abortion. And those people showed me such kindness while I was there, more kindness than I had felt in the last four years. They were there for me more than my own family who were oblivious and never noticed what had happened to me. The loss of my child is ultimately what freed me from my abuser. When I went to get the abortion many people surrounded me harassing me and yelling at me which is NOT okay, the business directly beside the clinic in Louisville tried to force the ladies into their clinic because of God. The only person who protected me from them was the planned parenthood clinic. I am so thankful for them.
