I went to Planned Parenthood for birth control when I was 17. My mom had the talk with me, and she wanted me to use birth control so I wouldn't get pregnant. At that time it was common for girls my age to go to Planned Parenthood. The staff were really kind and friendly. It was truly a no judgment zone. Planned Parenthood is a place where you can get immediate care, preventive care, especially when you're young.
