Chaz
I’ve been an escort for the past year at our Planned Parenthood here in Bloomington. It has changed my life to see brave women do what’s best for their bodies and minds. They have to drive up to the building past the protesters with grotesque signs, get out of their car, walk into the building, hearing the harassment from strangers. And these protesters do NOT know these women’s stories. They don’t know how these women feel – they know nothing. The protesters are single minded. But these women – they have lives and they have stories. Some come all the way from Kentucky. Planned Parenthood trusts women to write their own story – they trust women to do what’s best for them. I’ve gotten the chance to speak with a few of the women and I’ve gotten a glimpse into their lives. I’m forever grateful to know they confided in me – the challenge they are going through – the hardships of deciding what’s best for their own body. I want them to know I’m escort because I support them with my whole heart – I’m forever grateful that Planned Parenthood exists – to give a voice women – to give them their right over their own bodies – to support them. Planned Parenthood gives us all a platform to support women’s rights. I stand with PP.
